Glad it worked out for you. I have a Brother 195C printer which is directly connected to a desktop (USB connection) and I remember having a hard time to get it working wirelessly on my laptop (OS:LinuxMint) but finally succeeded with the help of the Brother website. I think Brother is good in helping out Linux users much more than Canon for instance.
