how to make a dummy driver in kernel 2.6


Hi folks, I m trying to write a dummy network driver for realtek8139 as part of my project...can anyone give me a specific c code for the purpose...I already tried a code availabe on the link given below but it doesnt compile [URL="http://linuxgazette.net/issue93/bhaskaran.html"]

This one has a network driver program in it. I have not tested.

This is from Linux Device Driver book, but you might have to modify as the code is quite old. I rewrote and tested with 2.6.23, it works well. The module name is snull.
