how to install sun jdk 1.6 on redhat 6

Hi,

Can anybody give me steps to download and install sun jdk 1.6 on Redhat 6 . because the machine itself cannot access internet but accessible on local network so i need to download the pkg and install.

> jdk-1.6.0_37-fcs.x86_64.rpm

1) su 2) yum localinstall --nogpgcheck jdk-1.6.0_37-fcs.<arch>.rpm

2)
/usr/sbin/alternatives --install /usr/bin/java java /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_37/bin/java 2

3) /usr/sbin/alternatives --config java
... And select the "Sun Java".
