Post How to install master boot record

Hi All,

I had Windows XP on my PC. I made it dual boot by installing Linux fedora core.Accidentally Windows XP got corrupted and I installed win XP again. But after that I'm not able to see the Installed Linux. I came to know that installing the Master Boot Record can help in re viewing Linux.
Please let me know what should I do to see Linux OS again.

Thanks for the help in advance,
Best Regards,
Venkatesh.

fedora install cd/dvd should have a recovery/rescue option on boot up....do not do a new install if you can not find it.

the menu should tell you press recovery or rescue and then you follow the prompts to re-install bootloader.
