I'm a newbie to this forum so please understand as I try to navigate through this learning curve. I just installed wubi and was trying to establish internet access. I have the following information:

Encrytion Type: WEP
WEB Key
Network Address
AP MAC Address
Gateway IP
Client MAC Address
Client IP
Router MAC Address

I have a Dell Inspiron on a wireless home network and need assistance getting linux configured properly. I'd appreciate any help you can provide to put me on the correct path.

I have never used wubi, nor do I know how it works or how it may affect drivers and networking. But still...

For a very brief overview how to get wireless networking going in Ubuntu: From the System menu, select Administration, Hardware Drivers. There you should be able to install the drivers for your BCM4311 card. When that is done, restart your computer. After having logged in again you should be able to find your network in the Network Manager icon in the top right of your screen.
