Question How can I find the type of a DVD?

Hi..

I want to know whether the DVD inserted is a DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW.

I tried using CDRTOOLS but its not displaying the device information instead showing the driver information. Please let me know if there is any ways...?

Thanks
Sudheer

One way would be using dvd+rw-tools, for example:
Code:
dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/dvd
