well i am sorry to say but this is one of the most un-informative posts i have ever seen ...
not to sound rude, but it is ..
you have to tell us whats happening ... any errors, any changes you made to the pc, what distro, what exactly do you mean by crashes ., etc, etc ...
when it crashes (whatever it is in fact crashing) does it like lock up the whole machine and have to do a hard reboot, does it just boot you outta the program/game back to X, does it kill X and leave you in a terminal ...
