What do you mean by deleted? Did you simply push the delete button or over-write a file? Lacking further information, I can only state generally, but here goes.
If a file was just deleted, it should be in the waste basket and can be easily restored. If it was over-written, it was replaced. The old file will be gone, unless you have a back-up.
Sorry - couldn't resist; if I delete a file it's commony an 'rm' on the command-line,
and short of using a forensic tool (unless you're still on ext2) there's no undelete,
or waste-basket.
Hi, I just wanted to thanks everyone who have tried to fix my Ubuntu operating-system work. as on now I'm using win7 to finish up my works but still working on the Ubuntu's problem; I mentioned "deleted" because for some how my line-connection icon disappears and I couldn't switch to my wireless mode but I still can use the local line. Hope this can help us out, again thank you so much.
