Help installing Numeric-23.6


I get this error when trying to build the Python source

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-suse-linux/3.3.3/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lcblas
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I have blas, Python, and Atlas all installed is there someint else i need?

never come across it before, but google tells me you need to install "blas" http://www.netlib.org/blas/

Had same problem a few days ago, couldn't get
23.6 or 23.3 to work ... 23.1 was fine, though
Found that tip on the Help-forum on sourceforge.
