Hard to understand how to install gui(mplayer)


I am installing mplayer,but for me it's hard to understand how to install
GUI ./configure --enable gui?I could not do..........

If you want gmplayer included you do need to specify the '--enable gui'.

'I could not do....': Why??

unknown parameter --enable

./configure --enable gui result in unknown parameter --enable.
and I still have not installed Abyss(gui) before install mplayer and I do not know anything about.

./configure --enable gui is not correct, this should be --enable-gui
