Unhappy mplayer GUI how install


when i use
#./configure --enable-gui;make;make install
................
..............
etc....
#mplayer

can't display GUI
why
somebody can tell me
HELP HELP

you load the gui by running gmplayer, not mplayer, whcih is the console version (much faster and better btw...)

The GUI version isn't that slow, give them a break hehe

Read the INSTRUCTIONS file carefully, to get the gui working you need to install a skin and a font package. These (for me anyways) had to be downloaded speeratly.

(btw, go rit astro )

them? you mean the MPlayer developers? hell, THEY hate it too....

Yes the font package and the skin will need to be downloaded and installed, those instructions are in either the INSTALL or READEME files...

Greg21: Have an affiliation with RIT??

I'll be second year with 3rd year status welcome to the club I guess.... stay away from the people with capes (archmages) and don't eat at gracies as much as possible hehe
