Hanging... argh....


When ever I try to Install Mandrake 9.2 it starts up and i click F1 for more options, i do a normal install, but onces it gets through a few steps its says in the very bottom left and corner, begging second stage of install or something like that... what could be causing this and how do i fix it...

Try windows XP Home Edition instead.

have u burnt the CD yourself or have u bought it??

Burned it myself, this has happened before, in version 9.1, thought maybe 9.2 would work....

have you burnt the CD at a very high speed (42x,..) ??

Have you checked the md5sums for your disks?
Code:
md5sum /path/to/file.iso
Also, if you are doing a normal install, why do you need to hit F1? What other options are you using?
