Grub2 and iso boot ---- Again

Hi

Many of you might have read this before.
Just wondering since my first post about this has anyone tried to boot an iso from a flash drive using grub2

My progress so far :

I was able to boot a ubuntu iso and fedora iso from flash drive using grub2 but could not get to boot a custom iso (my iso which i build)

I used to get error like :you need to load the kernel first.

If any one working on this or working on this let me know

Thanks & Regards
Nirav Shah

Did you test your iso on a real disk?

Since you did get common ones to boot maybe the syslinux/isolinux choice??? dunno.

See this also.

I think i faced the same problem with fedora it did not boot and ubuntu did i found the menu entry for ubuntu on the net but could not figure out how they made it

Sorry but i dont have the menu entry for fedora

just try putting the kernel like it is in the isolinux.cfg file on the grub and see if that works

Large files do not work on ext2, this can be tested with loopback and a hd image
