I've actually been looking into this myself lately and have found these two so far:

drive-cli

drive

I'm not sure if these are available in the Arch repos, but I do know gdrive is. However it's no longer maintained.

Yes, very wrong. Absolutely any software project including rsync is controlled by some group of people, rclone is also a CLI program although it has nothing to do with security and both projects are opensource so you can inspect the code and build it yourself. In short, there is no real difference between rsync and rclone security-wise, but rclone can be used to access google drive while rsync cannot. You should be much more concerned about giving access to your sensitive information to google - this IS worrying.

Hiii,

Thanks for explaining, appreciate it, but i am still not that clear to say "ok, i got it"
Hence would like to further ask:
What do you meant by "is controlled by ..." are you refering to the person who run the software ? or some organization in between (middle man) ?

I guess Rsync has got no middle man or middle cloud or middle computer...
So, you said it is not possible for Rsync to access google drive .. ok,got it.

I know that is worrying ppl all over the world give google cloud so much trust.. but at least we know it is only google drive that has the access to our data; not more unknowned organization that is the Middle man between google drive and owner of the data.
