ftp not working from outside

Hello !

wu-ftpd (on RedHat 7.1) is working very good on local network. But I have problems to acces it from outside.
I always got

Connected to (right address).
Connection closed by remote host.

I asked the router support for right settings, so I think it is working ok.

Do you have any sugestions ?

Thanks.

Since you can ftp inside your local network with no problems and you can't externally, it's most likely a route issue. Did you make sure your router is setup correctly for this. Is this box set up at home or a company's network? You probably just need to open port 21 on the router and forward it to your box.
