fedora c1 hangs up in the "hda: attached ide-cdrom driver" line - first time install
Hello Guys,
I am trying to install a fedora c1 on a proliant 1600 with 2 scsi 9.1 gig hd and 384 mb ram.
the first issue i had was the Fedora install begun normally and detected the video card as: Cirrus Logic GD544x, and when it got to the probing for the Monitor Type, it said "Unknown" and it went stuck.
I fixed it with the command:
linux apm=off skipddc nousb
But after finishing the installation and when the Fedora begins the graphical mode ( in order to ask me for the user name info ) i lost the video as if the graphic card has a trouble but it doesn't.
The only way out were to shutdown the server and when i power it back on, it never pass from the "hda: attached ide-cdrom driver" line
Right now i have no idea about what to do, so i will really appreciate if somebody can give me a hand with this because i have to make it work by this week.
Regards,
--Ivan.
