Well, it is possible to install a RAID system by using LVM volumes. The fact that it doesn't boot correctly rather indicates that you might have made some customization during install. Though I wouldn't rule out completely that Fedora 10 install is at fault, as it is known to have quite a few flaws that need fixing updates.
The purpose of a RAID setup is to allow for fast replacement of faulty hard disks and other hardware. However, LVM is quite difficult to deal with for such matters, so my advice is to re-install the box and avoiding LVM volumes. It is always easier to fix the system when dealing with partitions directly. Otherwise get some good documentation on LVM tools to be prepared.
