eth0: Too much work in interrupt, status 0x1001h what does it mean?


Dear All,

What does it mean by eth0: Too much work in interrupt, status 0x1001h ? Is there any way to resolve it?

OS: Red Hat ver 9.

My first advice would be: get a newer release of redhat, yours
was out of support for years.

Hi,
If I remember correctly that was a common issue with
RedHat 9, due to problems with the network driver,
my suggestion is : Please get a more recent version
of RedHat,Fedora,CentOS etc. chances are that your
problem has been fixed by now.
