eth0: too much work at interrupt


my system was working fine for all of 2 days then i booted the system without a cable attatched( girlfriend disconnected to connect ltop).

now i get error sayying:
eth0: too much work at interrupt
help

its a dfs530+ installed on rh 9.0
thx for helping a

you mean you get this now when you boot with the cable plugged in?

Are you dual booting? I remember way back I had a problem if I booted into windows without the cable then booted into linux with it....but that was a long time ago.
