Edit the GNOME Panel's Font Color

I've read around the web about some people being able to change the font color on the GNOME panel, but I'm not too sure how to do it. I'm talking about the things like Applications, Places, System, and the Time/Date. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks in advance
-Sam

try editing the %gnome.xml files under your .gconf/ directory. If you drill down you will see a folder called font_rendering. I would start there.
