Drivers


Hello... i am a new user of linux edition... i want to find out where do i find drivers... ( especially video and sound )... could someone help me please?

Some information about your hardware would be helpful. What kind of graphics card and sound card? Also which distribution are you running?

I have ATI RADEON 9800 PRO ( 128 mb ) and creative sound blaster 5.1... What do u mean by which distribution? sry i am very new in the sistem.... (

Distribution as in Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, Slackware, SuSE, etc. This helps in getting an answer because different distributions use different package (read software) management systems, such as apt, yum or compiled source.

I use slackware ... i said the type of the videocard and audiocard. where do i find drivers?
