Smile driver for primeratrio printer on ubuntu 14.04

Can I use my primeratrio printer/copier/scanner with Ubuntu 14.04? Primera do not have drivers for Linux. thanks, montyk

If you have a copy of windows available, you could consider installing VirtualBox and installing Windows as a guest so that you can use your Primera device.

thanks, I have installed virtualbox, but still obtaining a copy of Windows 7.

Welcome to the forum

What is the model and model number of your Primera printer, out of curiosity? I found Linux beta drivers for the Bravo II, XR, Pro and XRP here, if it helps at all.

No, unfortunately they are for different models. This is the Primera model.

But isn't Primera the manufacturer or brand name?
