downloaded file for 14.04 needed

Hi: downloaded linux 14.04 to dvd. it downloaded and started to show ubuntu also created a spot on MBR file. but on start up gives me a choice of ubuntu or windows 10. if i click on ubuntu it gives me an error that ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mbr file missing. i also get a notification that the WHOLE iso and init files needs to be written???

wubi does not work for Windows versions > 7. If you want to install Ubuntu within a Windows environment versus duel boot you will need to use some type of virtualization software like VirtualBox.

Since wubi installs linux like an application I assume you can just remove as a way to repair but I am not sure.
