Thumbs down Downgrade RH9.0 to 8.0

Does somebody know how much effort it takes to downgrade from 9.0 to 8.0.

Running some software packages and it seems that RH9.0 is causing some severe problems for this software.

How do you downgrade?

Thanks
Jamie

What a strange idea.
Could you tell us which pieces of software cause troubles. Maybe you should try to upgrade those in order to be RH9.0 compliant.
Can you tell us more?

Thanks,

Vincent

Hi Vincent,

It is open source software (Asterisk) - which seem to be working on RH8.0 wihtout problems and not on the new installed RH9.0

It might also be caused by some other factors ... but I just wanna to try downgrade to RH8.0 and see it the problems are still there

Cheers

PS: upgrading Asterisk is of course the best but I am running the latest CVS :-)

hi

well ask the asterisk guys whether they have a solution to your problem. downgrading redhat is not really worth it
