Do you know an Image of PI OS (Debian) with Wofram Mathematica (any version) for the raspberry pi RPI3b+ PLUS ?

Hello

The idea is Maths ready to use just after the SD/MMC creation (all included).

This has mathematica but the kernel is only for rpi3b
That means that it won't boot on rpi3b+.
"https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbian/images/raspbian-2017-12-01/2017-11-29-raspbian-stretch.zip"

https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/ra...an-stretch.zip

Do you know an Image of PI OS (Debian) with Wofram Mathematica (any version) for the raspberry pi RPI3b+ PLUS ?

Thank you and kind regards
X.

It used to come standard with the "full" version. You could try the current bookworm version download, the larger one with the "recommended software". If it's not there, it will be available in the standard repos. To install it run:
Code:
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt upgrade
$ sudo apt install wolfram-engine
I just tried it myself and it installs on my Pi5 bookworm. It is a huge download however, nearly 1.2GB and uses an additional 4GB of disk space.

ARM64 is super slow on RPI3b+ Plus.... Arm64 is okay on pi 4, but on pi 3, I may recommend armhf.

However armhf isnt working or supported by wolfram 12 or 13

edit do you have a direct link to the image that you have been using ?

I installed the 64 bit version from the official download page:

https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/operating-systems/

You can try the 64 bit one with the "recommended software" and it may have what you want included. Otherwise, it's available in the standard repos per my above post.

I think the Pi 3B is 64bit, but uses the inferior Cortex A-53 cores at a slower speed.

Memory might be an issue. You can monitor memory with 'free -h' and cpu load with 'htop'. Run each with their own terminal. Memory never tops out, but goes close, and things get refused extra ram, so they are hang there. Also have patience. I started zoom-5.15.10-x86_64 running under box64, and had to wait 2 minutes = 120 seconds for anything to appear on screen. You could well need a big swap file. I needed 2GB for zoom. But then I found a way of saving ram in box64.
