[SOLVED] no sound rpi3b slackware 14.2

Hi all,

I just got raspberry pi 3 b and did SARPi3

Everything seems to working well just can't get any sound, of course I blame pulseaudio, JK, maybe.

I asked over at FatDog Chat Forum, Exaga hasn't fooled around with sound much, has anyone here had any luck with audio?

Have you added "dtparam=audio=on" to the config.txt file?

That got sound working for me on the audio jack.

Thanks slackist for the suggestion, I did what you said and got snd_* modules but that didn't get audio.

I got audio by editing /boot/config.txt and also adding hdmi_drive=2, from AUDIO-CONFIG bottom of the page.

I now have audio via the hmdi to vga converter sound connector!
