I am 14 and nw to linux. My laptop has huge errors with windos so i switched to linux. But i cant format my sda. Can anybody help me. Plz
A good first step is learning to spell and write clearly.
You say you switched to linux. What distribution? What version? What kind of laptop are you running this on? Do you want to keep Windows and dual-boot Linux, or do you want to format the whole drive and start over? If you can provide more information, it'll make it easier for folks to help you.
What are you using to format the drive? Most linux installers come with some form of fdisk gui that lets you add and delete partitions. Delete the windows one and use the default configuration for linux. Simple, right?
