Deleting Linux, All Partitions, Every Shred of Data!

I made the mistake of installing Linux first because I want Windows XP on here as well, so when I try to install WinXP (yes I am booting with the CD), it tell me about needing certain space and the HDD being permanetely attached, so on, so on and it says Setup cannot continue. Can someone please tell me how to erase Linux, all partitions and every single thing on this drive (including GRUB)?

Any help is appreciated

Stick in a bootdisk (I get mine from www.putergeek.com) and when you get to the a: prompt:
type: fdisk /mbr and hit return
type: fdisk and choose to delete all partitions (follow the prompts)
type: format c: and follow the prompts

Your hard disk will then be empty.

Also check my bookmarks (see my signature) I have links to Microsoft Support where they give full instructions.

I'd do the partitioning and the formatting from the windows xp disk as it has quickformat options and will make it take less time. I also think you can type fixmbr or something to that effect in the console recovery tool that comes on the disk.
