Debian 9.1 notification adjustment

Hello Everybody,
Is there a way to adjust the time for notifications? They pop up and seem to take forever to go away. I realize it's only a few seconds, but holy time delay BatMan!!. I'm running Debian 9.1 with the KDE desktop on a HP 8530P.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

In KDE v. 4, at least, you can go to System Setttings-->Application and System Notifications-->Manage Notifications-->Launch Feedback and adjust the type and duration of the notification.

Correction: That's Manage Notifications-->Applications. You can select various applications and make some adjustments. I have not fully explored it, but I think that would be a place to start.

Plasma also has settings for notifications listed under "Personalization," but the menu choices are more granular.

Hi again,

I'm running KDE Plasma version 5.8.6. I did go through the personalization headings and didn't find anything useful. On DebIan Jessie v8.7 the notification window itself has an adjustment button shaped like a wrench.

Mike.
