[SOLVED]

Now, my Trinity and Debian Squeeze are working together rather flawlessly.

It was a conflict between KDE4's aRts with the Trinity one, so, I've removed KDE 4.

After upgrading my Lenny to Squeeze, I've got some little problems that I'm taking some care to work arround, but I can't get rid of this annoying one. The KNotify used to work without any problems under KDE 3.5.9/3.5.10, however, the Trinity's KNotify refuses to play notification sounds, without any reasonable reason.

I've tried to change to a external player (mplayer), tried to edit the knotifyrc file, located at ~/.trinity/share/config/ and tried to reinstall some aRts-related packages, but no luck. Apart of this, KNotify is working. At least, error messages are shown without problems.

Googling around I see tons of old posts (Mainly > 2005), and nothing indicated as solution to these posts solves the problem.

Does anyone have some idea on what's happening?
