compiling kernel

Hello

I have a question on compiling same kernel again.

I have fedora 11 (2.6.29.6)
I want to compile the kernel again but not overwrite old one (current)
Basically I would want to see two entries in grub.

How can i do it?

You just need to add the new kernel entry in your grub and your older kernel should be there unless you manually remove it.

You should add localversion like "-gottimw" in the general setup and append it. That way your new kernel and modules will be separate than you previous one.
