in my i18n file i can see
LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
SUPPORTED="en_US.UTF-8:en_US:en:el_GR.UTF-8:el_GR:el"
SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"
you see i live in greece. I added this command also
LC_CTYPE=el_GR (which i do not know what it does, but it changes to a greek font, and i can read greek smoothly)
#LC_MESSAGES=el_GR
i made it a comment, cause i don't want my menu displayed in the greek language.
now I want to change the font linux (automatically?) loads for the greek language cauz it sux.
I perhaps should try to change sth in the SYSFONT
i want to load the tahoma font (i already have plug windows fonts in my linux) but i don't know how am I gonna say to Red Hat 8, that I want TAHOMA (greek) for my system default font
any suggestions?
thanks in advance
ps. there are ALSO other languages than ENGLISH and LATIN-characters languages such as greek.
But i admire the patience of Linux Users in Palestine or somewhere, cauz their languages is most complicated than mine, yet greek is a good not latin characters language which I need in my linux. so make suggestions
