Change LILO boot order ???

How do i change default OS in LILO?

I did a search and was able to determine that I need to change /etc/lilo.conf.

There is a default = DOS line, but what do I change it to read for linux?

I read that I need to make it default = fedora_label_something or another, what would apply to my RH9 syatem and where can i find that info.

I am concerned about changing that value and not being able to boot up.

If you wanted to set linux as the defualt, you would have to change the default= line to default=whateverthelinuxlabel is. Find out what the linux label is by looking at the linux section of your lilo config. In the linux section, it should have a "lable=" line.

The default field should be same as the label field later referring to the boot option.
