CentOS window does not maximise with VBOX

Hello,

Was was wondering if someone can shed some light on this problem. My guest OS window does not expand with the the Virtual Box window. Looking at other threads it sounds like I need to match the host & guest screen resolution? If that is the case how can I get more options loaded into the guest? There are only two 640x480 & 800x600.

Host:
WinXP
Resoultion 1920 by 1200

Guest:

Resolution 640x480 or 800x600

Hey,

Adding the guest-additions solved my problem. I addition I added my desired resolution to:

/etc/X11/xorg.conf
&
~/xorg.conf

with the following

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen0"
Device "Videocard0"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Viewport 0 0
Depth 24
Modes "1600x1200" "1400x1050" "1280x1024" "1280x960" "1152x864" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
