Why don't you just login as root? No terminals and su, just exit your session, type root as username and enter the password and try it again. P.S You need to be in some type of X session for the script to run, or it appears that way.
finally got it working, had to log in as root and double click the file, thing is the program doesnt work, says it installed quicktime but doesnt list it under installed stuff or anything, oh well i guess. Thanks for all the help
