Hi, I've just joined this company and my first task is to get a Linux CRM software running from the server. The previous guy has installed and configured the CRM to start and run, but due to some problems with the management, the users stopped using it. Now the previous IT guy has left and I'm asked to start the application again. I must admit that I have very limited knowledge in Linux, I'm sure the CRM was running fine last time, but I don't know why I cannot get it running now. Let's not talk about the CRM application itself, I noticed that I cannot even get the httpd service to run from my Fedora box, I got this message when I start it from the terminal, any idea what does it mean?
Starting httpd: httpd: Syntax error on line 75 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /opt/lampp/mod/var/www/htmlules/mod_dumpio.so into
server: /opt/lampp/mod/var/www/htmlules/mod_dumpio.so: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory\
I swear I didn't touch any of the conf files before this. Desperately to see a reply soon, I don't want to fail my first assigned task....
Well make sure you read the apache configuration file ..specially line 75
And also make sure apache can find the module /opt/lampp/mod/var/www/htmlules/mod_dumpio.so
Try to disable that module (mod_dumpio) and then restart apache
Run a apachectl configtest ..see if you still have errors in the configuration file

Edited that line and make sure the path is correctly typed. Thanks, I can start my httpd service now.
