cannot login after hibernate/suspend


hello guys

when my laptop goes to hibernate/suspend mode i cannot log in. I mean when i type my password it does not get typed/displayed in the password input field. All i have to do is restart the machine again.
Does anybody know whats the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Normally it is echoed.
What happens when you type the password and press enter?

sorry i could not reply to respond to this coz i was out of station with other assignments... repo, nothing is happening when i type the password and press enter. it is not getting echoed... do you have other suggestions and ideas... pls help
