can i install kernel 2.6.39 on centos 5.6

i have installed centos5.6. My current kernel is 2.6.18. Can I upgrade/update my kernel to any newer version(may be 2.6.39 or so)??

[root@localhost ~]# uname -r
2.6.18-238.19.1.el5
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I read http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5.6/...s/x86_64/RPMS/ and found that only kernel-2.6.18-238.19.1.el5.x86_64.rpm is available for update.

Any help?
