I've installed opensuse recently and it just doesn't connect to internet.
Its dualboot with XP and the internet works fine in XP, I don't know what the problem is.

Hi

is the network card detected and working? Try "ifconfig -a" from a console and post the results here.

can you ping 8.8.8.8 ?

Also, what's the output of the following:

netstat -r

(that will show you the default gateway, can you ping it?)

If you can ping the default gateway but not access the "internet", check your nameservers. You can configure that from Yast - just type yast2 in a terminal and go to the networking menu. 8.8.8.8 is the google nameserver, start with that.
