I have worked out how to do must things. I just can't install programs (quite important lol

have been trying to install my network ataptor

I just don't understand commmards (need to get learing) I have tryed copying the whole of "make file" and it comes back with rong comarnd or somthing. i works with just the top bit but then what do I do.

I'm using Ubuntu distro (which might be what you mean *Ubumua*)

I one of the things I liked about it is that it comes with 'Synaptic' installer. Go to your admin menu and select 'Synaptic' it should ask for your password.

now to get it running right you should go to 'Settings - Repositories' in here check all the boxes that say 'source'

Close that menu and click 'Reload'

your set. just click search and search for what you need. Then check it for installation and click 'Apply'

it will download the software and all needed files and install it automatically.

i have no internet cause I can't install my adaptor. This is the only proplem I have had with linix haveing to use computer code to install somthing. I have the codes were do I but them in and i have tryed in comard and it comes up wuth cleared.

any idias?

is this a wireless adapter? Or is it a Wired connection.
