Build of xfs source code failed

I have the source code of xfs from the linux kernel. I downloaded from https://github.com/torvalds/linux/tree/master. I copied the xfs folder from fs->xfs into my home directory.I am using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS system and trying it on Virtual Machine. I have tried to build and compile that xfs code as a loadable kernel module. I went to that directory and ran "make" command as it had a Makefile in it.

But I gave me "make: *** No targets. Stop." message in console.
How can I do it? Please help.

Please read this, and then provide more information, such as the distro/version you are using, are kernel headers installed to your system, and anything else that might be helpful.

The more information you provide, the easier it is for others to help you.
