Bootloader probs!!!

Hi,

I've just installed Suse 9.1 Pro on a hard drive with Windows XP (dual booting). Everything seemed fine until I re-booted the pc. When the options for booting screen appeared, I tried booting Windows and was presented with the following message:

root (hd0,0)
file system type unknown, partition type 0x7
chainloader +1

I think it's a bootloader prob, any ideas???

P.S I'm using Grub bootloader!

Many thanks

Jason

Hi Antiloaded,

I followed your link, done as instructed to change the access mode from auto to LBA in the bios (windows partition over 8 Gb). Guess what? It worked a treat!!! Many thanks to you mate! really appreciate your help!

Cheers ;-)

Jason
