Booting from the DVD

I downloaded a copy of Aurora Linux for Sparc and I am trying to install it on a Sun Blade 100. I have installed linux multiple times on regular x86 computers with a normal BIOS, but I am unsure of how to get the Sun Blade to boot off of the DVD I just burned. When I insert it before the startup it doesn't seem to recognize the disk and merely boots to the Solaris 9 setup on the hard drive. Unfortunately, I do not have the password to login to Solaris, so it would be nice if I could simply boot off the DVD and erase the hard drive.

Any help in this matter is appreciated,
Curtis Schulz
