Booting using DVD
This is one of those times when your mind goes blank. I have been configuring a SUSE 9.3 Install on a Toshiba Tecra M4 and it has not been fun. However, I have managed to amaze myself -- and the system and all the devices seem to be working fine now-- except the TWINVIEW -- which I will work on this weekend, I have all the info I need.
So--the problem--- I need to resize a partition and I am pretty sure I need to do it from the DVD INstaller because it contains the / . So I simple want to boot the PC with the DVD and run the disk utilitites.
What is the best way to do this?
I have tried running a Yast2 from the init 3 and failsafe, but LINUX keeps telling me to unmount the volume first.
Regards.
