Hello
I am trying to make an application to send and receive ASCII characters from an HC-05 device (
http://www.exp-tech.de/service/datas...h-Products.pdf) and Sitara AM335x Starter Kit using the bluetooth module. I am new to Linux and Bluetooth and for what I have read I whould have to use SPP Profile. I have found some commands for initialization of the BT module and for connecting it to a device(
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index...._Command_Lines). I first tested the commands on my Android phone on the app BlueTerm.
Here are the commands:
cd /usr/share/wl1271-demos/bluetooth/scripts
./BT_Init.sh
sdptool add SP
sdptool browse local
rfcomm listen /dev/rfcomm0 1 &
cat /dev/rfcomm0
The problem is that the command rfcomm listen /dev/rfcomm0 1 & doesn't always work, I mean I cannot connect my phone to the board. Is there another way to create a serial port on Linux??? Can the board initiate the connection to the phone instead of waiting for the phone to connect to it? Thank you.
