Hello and welcome to LQ!

What exactly are you trying to do? You don't really have a question... Do you need assistance installing PAF? And what exactly is PAF anyway?

Also, I highly recommend not posting your e-mail on these forums, unless you like getting lots of spam...

Cheers,

Josh

I think PAF is "Personal Ancestral File".

Looking at WineHQ it states it is platinum. So you should be in luck.

You will need to install Wine to be able to get this to work.

For a Linux alternative I would recommend installing 'Gramps'. Then export your family tree as a GEDCOM file from PAF. This can then be imported it into 'Gramps'.
