It can connect to several p2p networks. It is just a daemon though, you will also need a client. I use giftoxic, which is a gtk gui for it.

Most Mandrake "newbie" problems can be resolved by going to
Easy URPMI and following the directions to set up your sources. Instead of resorting to tarballs and "wild" rpms, just "urpmi NAMEOFPACKAGE" on the command line, or use the Mandrake Control Center to install software.
