Question Adding default route on startup?

For redhat 7.2+, what file do I edit to create my routing table on startup?

My /etc/sysconfig/network file has a GATEWAY entry that points to my default gateway but for some odd reason it isnt there on startup...

/me shrugs

thanks in advance...

Check in the actual rc scripts usually located in /etc/rc.d

Look into configuration script /etc/rc.d/init.d/network (there should be a symilnk to it in /etc/rc.d/rd?.d/ where ? is your default runlevel number, usually 3 or 5) and other scripts in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts
