Talking ¿Sources.list o Source.list?


Hola a toda la comuidad, se que el sources.list se utiliza para administración, actualización, descargas, instalaciones de programas, entre otros;

que para poder acceder a él se necesita meter el comando: gedit /etc/apt/sources.list. en la terminal (accedo desde la terminal root)

Pero hay otro comando que es el gdit /etc/list/sources.list
y me aparece un archivo gedit vacio sin nada adentro, totalmente en blanco, pero si utilizas este comando : gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
y me aprece con los repositorios que necesita mi version de debian.

Pero mi duda es que cuando entro a gedit /etc/list/sources.list, deberia de tener algo escrito, comandos, etc?, nose esto me tiene preocupado ya que tengo problemas que resolver en mi ordenador.

Mi versión es Canaima3.0, un software basado en debian.
