THANK YOU TO ALL THE MODS AND SUPPORTERS OF THIS NEWBIE SECTION!

I've found here the best support than any forum in my life!! ( I was in C/C++/Adobe's Photoshop/Premiere forums ). Replies at 20minutes median! With a fastest replies at 5min and slowest at 12 hours! INCREDIBLE!

EVEN FOR THE MOST IDIOT NOOB QUESTIONS THAT NOBODY WOULD CARE SAYING "eh lad you seem to lazy, pick up a book first and dont wait everything on the plate"

Congradulations for installing G++ 4,7. And happy that LQ has been able to help.
If you have the time I would request you to write about it in a blog with LQ so that the next time someone wants to do this we can simply point him there.

I hope you also have gcc 4.5 AND 4.1 also installed

4.7 is so new that a lot of programs will need hacking to build in 4.7
